 Dalton’s plan
From two years in our kindergarten we are working according to the concept of Dalton’s education. We have received an international certificate of Dalton’s kindergarten. Our new pupils learn about how to work learning to plan your tasks, interact with others, to be responsible for implementing the tasks. This is an excellent way to get the child's independence.

 Days of Museums
Our preschoolers took part in the Świętokrzyskie’s Days of the Museum, visiting the Historical and Archaeological Museum in Częstocice. Children also has taken part in the art workshops titled: The Countess goes to the dance ball.

Preschoolers from the oldest group - Blueberries graced the ceremony for Social Welfare Home residents. They have presented an artistic program and later all invited to play together.

 In the agrotouristics farm
Children from the branch Blueberries and Frogs went to the agrotouristics farm in Stara Dębowa Wola. Since the current year is entitled to save forests, our preschoolers have been planting new trees.

 Preschooler’s Day
The 29th of September was declared a national Preschooler’s Day. With this initiative, there was the Polish Committee of the World Preschool Education OMEP. On that day celebrated our whole kindergarten.

 Autumn painted folklore
It was the title of the music concert which took place in a kindergarten, during which artists from Lublin presented folk songs from various regions of Poland.

 The Green Balloon Theater
Within the project “My kindergarten” held in the kindergarten charge free additional activities: art, theater, speech therapy, rhythmic and English. And so began attending classes for children in theater drama Green Balloon.

 Clean up the world
Our kindergarten like every year at this time has joined to the initiative “Clean up the world”. Preschoolers equipped with bags and gloves clean up kindergarten garden area and the estate area around the kindergarten building.

 The guests from Szwarszowice.
An interesting Christmas program in our kindergarten was prepared by children from a primary school in Szwarszowice. The show was made under the artistic direction of Iwona Stanczak. After this show everybody was singing carols.

With Christmas show (Jasełka) visited our kindergarten children with Complex of Special Schools. The children made very nice show and wished us a Merry Christmas.

 International cooperation
2010/2011 school year is the year in which our institution started to implement the teaching and educational work Dalton Plan.
In this education supporting us Dutch association of Dalton International. Our kindergarten received the status of "Nominated Member" (nominated for membership). In this cooperation we are members of international project Webcamclass. We participate in this project with institutions in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The cooperation includes, inter alia intercultural education, learning English and share experiences in implementing the Dalton Plan.

 Treasures of the Earth
Curator of the Archaeological Museum at Krzemionki Artur Jedynak told about what is hidden in the bowels of the earth. It was also a little lesson of distant history, during which the preschoolers could see tools made with flint and other accessories made by a man several thousand years ago.

 Traditional fortune-telling of Andrzejki
Traditionally, like every year the children played during Andrzejki. The children learned about the various fortune-telling and customs of Andrzejki.

 Again, success!
Once again, our pre-schoolers didn’t give a chance to others. In the second edition of an art competition organized by the Private Kindergarten Smyk, titled: “My favorite fairy tale character” we took first place and honorable mention. The winners were: Nicola Gruszczyńska - I prize, Jakub Kiełbasa - a honorable mention.

 Independence Day
On 11.09.2010 it took place solemn ceremony on the occasion of Independence Day. At the meeting arrived the invited guests and the parents. In our kindergarten sounded notes of independence songs. The youngest preschool recited poem of Bełza "Who are you - a little Pole", it caused a huge applause. At the end of ceremony all people adults and children sang the national anthem to give respect of the values of patriotism and above all our homeland.

 I am safe
The employees of the Municipal Police made in our kindergarten special lesson for children to inform preschoolers about proper behavior on the road, to be safe. During the meeting children praised their knowledge about safety on the road. Which they have already had thanks for participate in the classes in kindergarten.

 The visit of Matołek Goat
Our kindergarten visited a fairytale character Matołek Goat. The children watched a beautiful theater performed by actors. The preschoolers also took a part in this performance. At the end this ceremony kindergarten joined to Fun Club Matolek Goat. Matołek gave us a chronicle about his adventures, as a souvenir of his stay here.

 The preschooler is safe
The group IV - Ladybirds prepared an artistic and education program for all children from the kindergarten. They used songs, dance to by this way reminded their colleagues about the correct behavior on the streets, also in various other dangerous situations for children.

 Dog’s Day
The pedigreed dogs or mongrels, doesn't matter. They are like the family’ members. We love and care about them and they are not missing anything. But there are also dogs which suffer from hunger, they are unwanted, often discarded by their owners. Our preschool announced an action entitled: "Helping dogs and cats", during this action we collected food for the animals. The children participated also in educational activities concerning animals.

 A visit in the Museum of History and Archaeology
The children from groups: Bees and Ladybirds watched an interesting exhibition in the Museum in Częstocice. The exhibition titled "From the underwear in the twentieth century". In addition preschoolers participated in the art workshops led by museum staff.

 Children\'s Art Salon
25th October it was opened next season of the Children's Art Exhibition. For several years we made in cooperation with the housing estate "Pułaneczka" an art exhibitions of our preschoolers. Traditionally this ceremony was opened by artistic performance. In this time the children from Bees and Bilberries groups were presented. The exhibition was titled "Meeting the summer and autumn".

 Holiday of Tree
This holiday was celebrated in a special way in our kindergarten. We are the winners of the nationwide grant competition, "My strong tree" organized by the Foundation of Our Earth, this issue is particularly close to us. The science and experience are never too much, so we celebrated together with the employee of forestry management Jacek Sobolak, who prepared for the children the talk about the fauna, flora and protection of forest resources. The forester also gave for preschoolers seedlings of various trees, which were after planted in the garden of kindergarten.

 The open air
15th October 2010 in our kindergarten it was the first open air for kindergartens. The triples groups from every Ostrowiec's kindergartens participated in this. The children were working under the artists supervision: the first group was working with folk painter Stanisław Skalski, they were painting, a second team with artist Bożena Sergiel, they were working graphic technique - monotype and a third group of reporters worked with the photographer Stanisław Dunin-Borkowski.

 Music of Chopin
In the year of Chopin was organized a special concert for children. This concert was described the character, music and figure of composer. The performers were musicians from the Philharmonic, who presented in an interesting way this not easy topic for children .After concert the preschoolers were painting their impressions from the concert. The artistic works of children were sent to the international Chopin competition.

 The Cleaning Up the World
Once again, children joined in the action of cleaning the world organized by the Center for Environmental Education. The preschoolers were cleaning area around the kindergarten. They were with bags and gloves. This is one of many forms of environmental education in our kindergarten.

 The festival of the housing estate
Our representatives from the group "Ladybirds" took part in the festival, organized by common room "Pułaneczka" of housing estate. The children were singing and dancing. This festival was next successful event in the framework of cooperation our kindergarten and common room "Pułaneczka".

 Visiting the forester Dunale.
Our project is another part of the "tree my friend." To better understand the forest pre-schoolers of Group IV Ladybugs, have opted to visit the lodge located near Ostrowiec.

 International art contest.
On 17 June 2010 at the Museum of Częstocice, was a summary of the artistic competition Fri: "My adventure at the museum."
It is organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Regional Museum in Torun. At the initiative of an international nature responded to the area of our city Public Kindergarten No. 16, and the Historical and Archaeological Museum, which together have joined the project and carried out at regional level qualification.
The aim of the contest were: shaping the artistic tastes, artistic preferences develop and deepen the knowledge of museum collections.

 Third place in the region!
We joined in the spring of kindergarten educational program "Świętokrzyskie - my little country", announced by the Provincial Office in Kielce. The aim of this project was the implementation issues related to regional education, learning and promoting his own region, a small country. Children of all ages participated in various activities, tours, the aim was to find out where the nearest przedszkolakom environment-related to their hometown. We planned the program issues such as the traditions of our city, where our parents are working, well-known people in our city, recreation and leisure, attractions.

 Ecological Picnic
"Tell me sister, brother, tell time with us save the trees" - the motto was held June 14 in Kindergarten No. 16 Ecological Picnic.
The participants were parents, kindergarten, children from the neighborhood Świetlica Pułaneczka and residents from the site of our estate.
The main objective was to draw attention to the protection of forests and trees. On this day in kindergarten was conducted jointly with the Company Remondis elektrośmieci collection. For the equipment could be brought to get the reward in the form of tree seedlings, which handed the employee superintendence.

 Artistic presentations kindergartens.
April 28 at Kino Etude already held a cyclic event, during which presented all kindergarten in Ostrowiec. This time, our institution was represented by children from the Branch III Jagoda. The presentations are carried out under the slogan "At the spring meadow" a prepared dance forms inspired by the music of Frederic Chopin.Jagódki presented the audience thumbnail dance to the song "Wish."

 Memory of the victims of Katyn
On 19 April 2010 in Public Kindergarten No. 16 held a ceremony commemorating the events of 70 years, which occurred at Katyn. In all age groups, educational classes were held on this topic and then a joint meeting at the gym nursery.
